Walking Tour of Bratislava

If you’re planning a trip to Bratislava, I highly recommend exploring the city on foot or by running through it, and my walking or running route around the city can help you do just that! Not only is walking or running a great way to exercise and stay active while on vacation, but it also allows you to see the sights and sounds of Bratislava at your own pace.

Starting from the Old Town area, my route takes you through the winding streets and historical landmarks of Bratislava, including St. Martin’s Cathedral, Michael’s Gate, Grassalkovich Palace, and the Main Square. You’ll also get to see some of the city’s more modern sights, such as the UFO Tower and the Eurovea Shopping Center.

If you’re up for a longer run, you can continue on to the Danube Riverfront and take in the stunning views of the river and surrounding countryside. And if you’re feeling particularly adventurous, you can make your way to Devin Castle, located just outside of the city.

Overall, this walking or running route is a great way to experience the unique blend of old and new that Bratislava has to offer. So lace up your shoes, hit the pavement, and enjoy exploring this beautiful city!
